NOTE: If no light is desired, follow these steps
below prior to installing the light fitter and shade:
Remove the Hex Screw and Washer from the Light
Fitter (Figure 35).
Unscrew the Light Fitter from the Switch Housing
Cover.
Retain all parts for possible future use.

Place the No Light Plug (supplied) into the Switch
Housing Cover Hole (Figure 36).

Remove and Retain the Three #8-32 x 8 mm Flat Head
Screws from the Switch Housing (Figure 37).
Be sure all Wires are inside the Switch Housing.
NOTE: The Cover has a Long Slot that Has To Line
Up with the Reverse Switch and a Curved Slot that
Has To Line Up with the Pull Chain, both located
inside the Switch Housing.
Align the Three Switch Housing Cover Holes with the
Three Switch Housing Screw Holes.
Reinstall and Tighten the Three Switch Housing
Screws, previously removed, to secure the Cover to the
Switch Housing (Figure 37).
A spare #8-32 x 8 mm Flat Head Screw is in the
hardware bag, if needed.
To avoid fire or electrical shock, be careful not to
pinch wires between the switch housing assembly and
the cover.
