NX UPS Single Module And Parallel System 250kVA ~ 800kVA User Manual
3. Identify and make power connections for the input cables according to one of the following two procedures,
depending on the type of installation.
Common input connections
1) In common bypass and rectifier input configuration:
250kVA ~ 400kVA:
Connect the AC input cables to the bypass input terminals (bA-bB-bC) in the bypass cabinet, connect the input
neutral line to the bypass neutral terminal bN in the bypass cabinet Ensure correct phase rotation.
500kVA ~ 600kVA E:
(1) If the cabinet is equipped with four switches (Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q5), the cabinet disenables the rectifier and bypass
to share the same route mains input.
(2) If the cabinet is equipped with two switches (Q2 and Q5), then connect the AC input cables to the bypass input
terminals (bA-bB-bC).
(3) If the cabinet is equipped with no switch, then connect the AC input cables to the bypass input terminals
(bA-bB-bC).
(4) Connect the input neutral line to the output terminals i/o/b N.
(5) Ensure correct phase rotation.
600kVA ~ 800kVA:
Connect the AC input cables to the bypass input terminals (bA-bB-bC) in the bypass cabinet, connect the input
neutral line to the neutral terminal i/o/b N in the bypass cabinet. Ensure correct phase rotation.
Split bypass connections
2) In split bypass configuration:
250kVA ~ 400kVA:
(1) If the main input switch Q1 (option) is available, then connect the rectifier input cables to the rectifier input
terminals (mA-mB-mC) in the bypass cabinet.
(2) If the main input switch Q1 (option) is not available, then connect the rectifier input cables to the rectifier input
terminals (mA1-mB1-mC1) in the main power cabinet.
(3) Connect the bypass input cables to the bypass input terminals (bA-bB-bC) in the bypass cabinet.
(4) Connect the input neutral line to the bypass neutral terminal oN in the bypass cabinet.
(5) Ensure correct phase rotation.
500kVA ~ 600kVA E:
(1) If the cabinet is equipped with four switches (Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q5), then connect the rectifier input cables to the
rectifier input terminals (mA-mB-mC), and connect the bypass input cables to the bypass input terminals (bA-bB-bC).
(2) If the cabinet is equipped with two switches (Q2 and Q5), then the cabinet disenables the rectifier and bypass to
adopt two-route mains input.
(3) If the cabinet is equipped with no switch, then connect the rectifier input cables to the rectifier input terminals
(mA-mB-mC), and connect the bypass input cables to the bypass input terminals (bA-bB-bC).
(4) Connect the input neutral line to the output terminals i/o/b N.
(5) Ensure correct phase rotation.
600kVA ~ 800kVA:
(1) Connect the rectifier input cables to the rectifier input terminals (mA-mB-mC) in the bypass cabinet.
(2) Connect the bypass input cables to the bypass input terminals (bA-bB-bC) in the bypass cabinet.
(3) Connect the input neutral line to the neutral terminal i/o/b N in the bypass cabinet.
(4) Ensure correct phase rotation.
