4. Connect the system output cables between the output terminals (250kVA ~ 400kVA: oA-oB-oC-oN; 500kVA ~
600kVA E: oA-oB-oC-i/o/b N; 600kVA ~ 800kVA: oA-oB-oC-i/o/b N) in the bypass cabinet and the critical load. Refer
to Table 3-1 for the torque. Ensure correct phase rotation.
Warning
If the load will not be ready to accept power on the arrival of the commissioning engineer, ensure that the system output cables
are safely isolated at their ends.
Battery connection
5. 250kVA ~ 400kVA: Ensure correct polarity of the connections from the battery string terminals to the BCB and from
the BCB to the battery input terminals (BAT+, BAT N, BAT–) in the UPS main power cabinet, that is, (+) to (+) and (–)
to (–), but disconnect one or more battery cell links in each tier. Do not reconnect these links and do not close the
BCB before authorized to do so by the commissioning engineer.
500kVA ~ 600kVA E, 600kVA ~ 800kVA: Ensure correct polarity of the connections from the battery string terminals to
the BCB and from the BCB to the battery input terminals (BAT+, i/o/b N, BAT–) in the UPS bypass cabinet, that is, (+)
to (+) and (–) to (–), but disconnect one or more battery cell links in each tier. Do not reconnect these links and do not
close the BCB before authorized to do so by the commissioning engineer.
6. Replace the protective covers.
Note
After connection, take appropriate measures to seal the cable entry holes.
3.2 Wiring Of Signal Cable
3.2.1 Overview
The UPS provides the same dry contact ports and communication ports (RS232 port and Intellislot ports) on the front
panel of the bypass control module. The port positions are shown in Figure 3-9 and Figure 3-18.
