This screen is used to activate the special operation feature of the Lorain CIP
power system. This feature allows a user to disable/enable the various system
operations (e.g., Disable Battery Test) of the System Manager CIP when a
specified alarm becomes active.
Any alarm can be assigned, regardless of severity. But only one alarm can be
assigned at a time. A generic alarm can be set up and assigned to the special
operation. This will allow a combination of alarms to disable/enable the
assigned special operation.
The system provides configuration for two special operations to be
configured. This means that it is possible for example to assign one alarm to
turn off the rectifiers and another alarm to disable the Boost Charge function.
However, both operations cannot be enabled/disabled at the same time.
Special Operation One has higher priority then Special Operation Two. This
means that if the alarm for Special Operation One is active then the selected
function for Special Operation One is disabled/enabled and the selected
function for Special Operation Two cannot be disabled/enabled, even if the
alarm for Special Operation 2 is also active.
