5.2.6.1 IMU calibration
When flying in Attitude mode, if Zoe seems to drift over 1 mps, and conditions are calm, you
should recalibrate the IMU.
for instructions on how to perform an IMU calibration.
For IMU calibration, the IMU needs to be preheated to 60°C. If operations take place below -10°C,
you should recalibrate the IMU, with the IMU preheated to the maximum temperature it can
reach in that environment. Reboot Zoe after calibration.
5.2.6.2 GPS (compass) calibration
It is recommended that you perform a compass calibration at least every 50 hours of operation, as well
as at any new flight location that is at least is 1500 km away from the original calibration. This is
especially important when using Zoe in different countries. Sometimes this requires physically
repositioning the GPS. Contact
if you experience GPS problems.
5.3
Battery maintenance

are not balanced, or if they are puffed or weeping.
Never alter, puncture, or impact the battery or related components.
