If VESH has not been enabled, enable it now. Press the
VESH
button, and then select
Enable
.
Check that the VESH is functioning correctly. With the VESH enabled and no warning alarm:
Decrease the height of Zoe and notice it slow to a stop before and at the VESH limit set.
The audible alarm will start to sound.
The
VESH
button should go from green, to yellow, and then to red as the VESH limit is
reached.
Autonomous Waypoint mode
Initiate an auto-takeoff.
With the waypoints set, press
Send
to send the drone on its mission.
Step 2: In-flight monitoring
Check the status of Zoe regularly. During flight, you should frequently check the following:
The telemetry monitor and the controller monitor.
The GPS signal.
Battery voltage and percentage to estimate flight endurance.
Pay attention to any status indicators and drone odometry.
Step 3: Switching flight modes
The following flight modes are available for Zoe:
Hovermap:
Hovermap has control of Zoe. If Hovermap is not connected, Zoe will automatically
choose Loiter mode instead.
Loiter:
Position-hold works best when the GPS signal is strong. In this mode, Zoe holds altitude
and position, and uses GPS for movements. Manual roll and pitch are used when sticks are not
centered.
Altitude-Hold mode:
In this mode, Zoe holds altitude and self-levels the roll and pitch.
Note
In both Mapping mode and Pilot Assist mode, it is important that you maintain
visual line of sight of the drone throughout the mission.
