General care and maintenance instructions
• Always dry the Toddler Roller and pram adaptor after use if they get wet.
• Be careful during transportation and storage as the surface of the chassis and adaptor
are fragile. Scratches that arise after sale are not a justifiable complaint.
Routine inspection
• Regularly clean the chassis and all metal parts including the adaptor, dry off and lubri-
cate all joints
• When the pram is used in winter, it should be cleaned at least once a week. Inadequate
cleaning can lead to corrosion. Should corrosion occur on the surface of the product,
which is a possibility, you are obliged to remove this with a chrome cleaner. NOTE!
Only use chrome polish on chrome surfaces; never on a lacquered chassis or aluminum
axles.
Check that:
• all locking devices and fasteners are functioning properly
• all the rivets, screws and nuts are tightened and not damaged.
• no plastic parts are damaged.
PLEASE OBSERVE
• When in need of servicing with original parts and other technical issues that require a
professional decision, always get in touch with your retailer where your Emmaljunga
product was purchased.
Care and maintenance
• The Toddler Roller is designed for use by one (1) child aged approx. 2 years that can
stand unaided with a max. weight of 20kg.
• The child’s safety is your responsibility.
• The safety precautions and instructions provided in this instruction manual cannot cover
all possible conditions and unforeseeable situations that could occur. It must be under-
stood that common sense, caution and care are factors that cannot be built into the pro-
duct. These factors must be supplied by the person(s) caring for and using the product.
• It is important that these instructions are understood by everyone who will use the pro-
duct. Always inform and instruct each person who will use the product how it should be
used, even if the person will only use it for a short time.
• If something is unclear and needs further explanation, your Emmaljunga authorized
retailer will be happy to assist.
• On prams with a reversible handle, the Toddler Roller must be attached to the side of
the pram where the handle is in its original position.
• Always hold the pram’s handlebar when the child is using the Toddler Roller.
• When used the child shall always stand on the Toddler Roller.
• This Toddler Roller is only compatible with the following chassis: Classic, Big Star Clas-
sic / Big Star Supreme.
• Never allow children to play with the Toddler Roller. Make sure that the child always
stands with both feet firmly on the board and ensure they have both hands on the hand-
lebars when you are pushing the pram.
• The strap is designed to lift the board when it is not in use, when pushing the pram. Ne-
ver allow your child/children to play with the strap due to risk of strangulation.
• The brake should always be engaged when you lift your child in/out of the pram and
when you place your child on the Toddler Roller.
• Never park the pram on a hill
• Use a maximum of one accessory on the pram at any one time e.g. Toddler Roller,
Toddler Seat or car seat adaptor.
• Always contact your authorised Emmaljunga retailer to replace a damaged or worn part
with a new spare part.
• Follow the care and maintenance instructions
• If you need to identify this product there is a sticker showing model name and serial-
number placed on the chassis / pram body / Carrycot.
• For car seats used in conjunction with a chassis, this vehicle does not replace a cot or a
bed. Should your child need to sleep, then it should be placed in a bed.
