Ÿ
Ÿ
Always ensure sufficient distance to flammable materials, i.e. on top at least 45 cm (18”) and on the sides at least 70 cm
(28”).
Ÿ
The gas heaters must stand on even and firm ground.
Ÿ
Never operate gas heater in explosive atmosphere, e.g. in area where fuel and other flammable liquids or vapours are
stored.
The heater is mainly intended for usage outdoors. Always ensure that sufficient fresh air circulation exists.
Sealing test
The gas connections of this gas heater have been tested for leaks prior to leaving the factory. A complete gas tightness test
must be conducted at the assembly site, since transportation conditions might have been improper or because the gas heater
was exposed to too much pressure.
Ÿ
Test the gas heater with a full bottle.
Ÿ
Ensure that the safety valve is in OFF position.
Ÿ
Prepare a soap solution with one part liquid detergent and one part water. The soap solution can be applied using a brush
or a cloth.
Ÿ
Soap bubbles will form in case of a leak.
Ÿ
Turn gas supply ON.
Ÿ
When noticing a leak, turn off gas supply. Tighten all leaking connections, then open the gas supply and conduct another
test. Contact your specialised dealer if more bubbles occur.
Ÿ
Never conduct a leak test when smoking or in front of open fire.
