Leakage testing
The gas connections of this radiant gas heater have been tested for leakage at the factory before delivery. However, complete
testing for leakage of gas must be carried out at the assembly site due to the possibility of improper transport or due to
excessive pressure on the radiant gas heater.

Test the radiant gas heater with a full gas bottle.
Ÿ
Make certain that the safety valve is turned to the OFF position.
Ÿ
Prepare a soap solution from one part liquid detergent and one part water. Apply the soap solution with a spray bottle,
brush or cloth.
Ÿ
In the event of leakage soap bubbles will form.
Ÿ
Turn the gas inlet to ON.
Ÿ
If you detect a leak, turn off the gas supply. Tighten all leaking connections and then open the gas supply again.
Repeat the leakage testing. If soap bubbles still occur, contact your specialist supplier.
Ÿ
Never carry out leakage testing while smoking or with an open flame.
