Installing the cartridge
Before installing your cartridge, please make sure the four electrical
contact points of the cartridge as well as the four spring-loaded pins inside
the coupling system are clean and not covered by any kind of dirt.
1.
Insert the cartridge into the quick coupling system of your tonearm.
2.
Turn the coupling-ring counter-clockwise to lock the cartridge.
Cartridge Types
As a product of the EMT professional product line, your tonearm is
designed to be connected with professional cartridge types:
1.
EMT (Standard): this is the standard configuration of the EMT profes-
sional tonearm.
2.
INT (Option): this connection is
Ortofon A
compatible and available
for the EMT professional tonearm as an option.
3.
SME Compatible (X): this connection is not available for the EMT pro-
fessional tonearm line.
