6. OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
6.1. GETTING STARTED
Read item 4 USAGE CONDITIONS
6.2. INSTALLATION
Be sure that the machine has no damages from the transport.
Fix the motor on the require surface and attach it with 4 M12 bolts with 8,8 quality at least.
Recommended torque: ±60Nm.
In case the motor has been fixed on a fastennig clamp, attach it in the place required and hold it hardly.
Once the fastennig clamp has been held, ensure it with a safety strap to keep the motor from falling.
6.3. CONNECTING TO A POWER SUPPLY
Check power characteristics from motor match with power characteristics from the power supply.
Check if power supply provides the require voltage. Also check if the power supply is according to the
current regulations and directives.
If the motor has been assembled with a switch, put it on OFF position before connecting.
Connect the plug to the power supply.
6.4. EARTH CONNECTION
If it is necessary, to protect the user from an electrical shock, the motor should be correctly connected to
earth. Motors are equipped with 3 or 4 wires cables. Should be used 3 or 4 wires plugs to connect the
motor. If those plugs are no available, adaptors with earth connection must be used.
6.5. EXTENSION CABLES
Use only extension cables with 3 or 4 wires and its respective plug with earth in the female and male
switches. If the motor plug has eath connection, extension cables with earth connection must be used.
Do not use damaged or worm out cables.
Avoid heavy loads on top of cables.
