OPERATION
SAFETY DEVICE
The cooker is equipped with an additional safety device, which stops the gas fl ow if
the pressure in the cartridge rises too high, e.g. due to overheating.
If the cartridge automatically ejects from the modulator, DO NOT USE THAT CAR-
TRIDGE AGAIN. Allow the appliance to fully cool off before using it again.
The cartridge cannot be locked into place if the control knob is not on “•“ (OFF).

RISK OF FIRE AND EXPLOSION
Never place two cookers closely next to one another.
Do not use a pot with a diameter larger than 26 cm. There is a
risk of the cartridge overheating if the cartridge slot projects.
COMMISSIONING
1.
Turn the control knob clockwise to “•“ (OFF).
2. Make sure that the cartridge stop lever (

) is on “ ” (OPENED).
3. Open the cover of the cartridge slot (

) and insert the cartridge head fi rst, so that
the opening in the upper end of the cartridge is facing upward and is adjusted in
the valve guide.
4. Press the cartridge stop lever (
6
) down to “ “ (CLOSED).
5. Turn the control knob (

) all the way to the left to “ “ (IGNITE), there is a clicking
and the cooker ignites.
6. If there is no ignition, repeat step 5 three to four times.

Regulate the fl ame by turning the control knob to any setting between the highest
and lowest setting.

If you hear a hissing noise, the cartridge is not locked into place correctly. If neces-
sary, correct the position of the cartridge.
