3. Make a small hole in the grommet and pass incoming mains cable through it, then secure the wall plate to
the wall, ensuring no wiring is trapped, using screws and plugs. Ensure there are rubber washers under the
screw heads.
4. Support your fitting and connect the house wiring to the terminal block - see expanded wiring diagram below.
When you are sure of the connections wrap the Terminal Block and overlap the wiring both sides with 2
layers of insulation tape.
NOTE: This is a Class I fitting and must be earthed
.
5. Fit the bulb.
NOTE: Never fit bulbs of a higher wattage than those specified on the label (as these may
cause overheating and damage the fitting).
6. Re-fit the diffuser and lamp cover using the screws retained from Step 2. Tighten the screws securely,
ensuring the rubber washers are under the screw heads.
7. Turn on the power and test.
