FRWD
: means
FORWARD
– typical direction from first step 1 to the last step
and then again returning to the first and so on.
REWD
: means
REWIND
– direction from the last step to the first step 1 and
then again returning to the last and so on.
PEND
: means
PENDULUM
– is a combination of first forward and then
backward movement.
RAND
: means
RANDOM
– each next step the sequencer is selected is random
of track’s set steps.
RSTP
: means
RANDOM STEP
– on each step sequencer decides if it goes
forward or backwards.
Whatever direction you choose, keep in mind that once you choose another
pattern, it will be switched once the current pattern will finish its full cycle. In
FORWARD
mode that means once the pattern will reach its last step, the next
step will be the first step from new pattern. In
BACKWARD
mode the pattern
should reach its first step and then will be switched to the new pattern. In
PENDULUM
mode the pattern should go forward and then backward and only
then will be switched to the next pattern – i.e. will pass twice more steps before
the switch. In
RANDOM
and
RANDOM STEP
modes the logic is simple – the
switch to the new pattern will occur after initiated and once the pattern will pass
the full number of its set steps (by default 16).
