Proper use of the dabbing station can prevent this carryover.
For the accurate transfer of small volumes, reverse pipetting with additional stroke or addi-
tional volume is generally recommended in order to exclude falsification of the uptake vol-
umes due to capillary effects.
Residual ejection should always be performed on the dabbing station with
activated
vac-
uum in order to completely remove the residual liquid from the tips.

TIP
Before each resetting of the pistons to the zero position, it is
imperative
that the residual
liquid is completely removed from the tips by dabbing on the fleece surface of the dab-
bing station.
