Minimum/maximum port
These parameters only appear if the
Other
option is selected under
Service
. They determine
the port(s) that run the service that should be allowed.
A single port (set minimum and maximum port to the same value) or a port range (e.g.
10000 to 10005) can be specified. Both parameters can also be set to 0. This means that
connections are permitted on every port (wildcard).
Minimum/maximum source IP address
Determines the IP addresses that should be permitted to connect to the specified services.
A single IP address (set minimum and maximum address to the same value) or an IP
address range (e.g. 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.10) can be specified. Both parameters can
also be set to 0.0.0.0. This means that connections are permitted from every IP address
(wildcard).
Event log messages
The firewall is implemented inside the NAT service unit. Event log messages are
documented there.
8.4.17 Update
Due to storage and transportation times, the latest firmware version might not be installed
on your device. It is therefore advisable to update the firmware when commissioning the
device.
Click the following link to download the latest firmware:
https://weupcmasafgfirmware.blob.core.windows.net/fxa42/fxa42_current.cup
An updated firmware version can be installed on the device using the settings and buttons
on this page. The installed version of the firmware is displayed. Firmware settings that
were made before an update and have been saved by rebooting the device are retained.
It is possible to run an update in 3 different ways:
• FIS update: the update is triggered by the FIS (Field Information Server) and then runs
automatically. Only possible in conjunction with SupplyCare Hosting.
• Manual update with Web GUI.
• Manual update with SD card.
