Transmitter
Tap the measured variable to show
or hide it on the transmitter's
operational display.

Under
Display
, use the options
Yes
or
No
to choose which transmitter
measured variables are displayed or
not.
• Analysis parameter 1…n
• Temperature
• Speed of sound
• Density
• Dispersion
All the measured variables are
displayed.

Averaging
Select averaging over a number of
measuring points for the selected
measured variable
Example of averaging for the
"Density" measured variable
• User entry: 5
• Output: averaging over 5
measuring points or over a period
of 0.5 s (measuring frequency =
10 Hz)
The analysis parameters are
still calculated using the non-
averaged measured values.

Kalman filter
Apply the Kalman filter for
displaying the temperature by
activating the function.
When the Kalman filter is
enabled, the measuring device
uses surface wave
information, in addition to
the measured value of the
integrated temperature chip,
for temperature
measurement. This allows the
sensor to follow variations in
temperature more quickly.
However, the sensor then
needs more time to reach the
stationary full scale value.
Enable/disable the function
The function is disabled.
10.4.8 Configuring the touch screen
The touch screen is configured via the local display. The
User settings
menu contains all
the parameters for configuring the display.
If the transmitter is located in the stainless steel housing, to configure the touch
screen the housing must be opened and the housing cover removed in order to gain
access to the touch screen.
