13.1 Maintenance tasks
No special maintenance work is required. Each part and accessory can be cleaned. This
may require disassembly.
13.1.1 Exterior cleaning
When cleaning the exterior of the measuring device, always use cleaning agents that do
not corrode the material or the seals.
13.1.2 Interior cleaning
The device is designed for cleaning in place (CIP). The inspection and cleaning intervals
depend on the field of application.
NOTICE
Damage to the sensor
Unsuitable cleaning agents or tools can damage the sensor.

Use an oil-free cleaning agent that does not form a film to clean the sensor. Gently
clean the surface using a soft brush.
‣
Do not damage the sensor.
‣
Never use cleaning agents that can corrode the material.
13.1.3 Replacing seals
The sensor's seals (particularly aseptic gasket seals) must be replaced periodically.
The interval between changes depends on the frequency of the cleaning cycles, the
cleaning temperature and the medium temperature.
