Motor oil 

  The generator must be on level ground. 

  The motor must not be hot, but should ideally be slightly 

warm. 

  Place a small pan or rag under the screw plug or dipstick, 

in order to catch the escaping oil. 

 

CAUTION! 

Leaking  motor  oil  can  contaminate  soil  and  groundwa-
ter. 

 

  Use an oil collection container. 

  Recycle used motor oil. 

 

DANGER! 

Motor oil can be hot — risk of burns. 

 

  Allow motor to cool.
