The rear-panel outputs are labeled with their configured frequency. These frequencies are not
changeable but can be viewed via the front-panel display by navigating to Main Menu > Option I/O
> OptCardx (where x = 1-5). You can also view the Low Phase Noise output configuration via the
network or serial ports by using console command
pluginopts
(see
Chapter 3 - Console Port Con-
trol & Status
). For signal definition see

Sine Wave Module
The Sine Wave Module is an option that adds four (1U / 2U) or six (2U) frequency outputs to your
Meridian II. This module is intended for those wanting sine wave outputs without the need for the
high-performance low-phase-noise.
Up to five of these modules can be installed. The first one (with an oscillator) needs to be installed
and configured at the factory. Additional modules can be installed in the field as “plug-and-play” op-
tions. Available frequencies are 1 MHz, 5 MHz and 10 MHz. The rear-panel outputs are labeled with
their configured frequency. These frequencies are not changeable but can be viewed via the front-
panel display by navigating to Main Menu > Option I/O > OptCardx (where x = 1-5). You can also
view the Sine Wave Output configuration via the network or serial ports by using console command
pluginopts
(see Chapter 3). For signal definition see

Wave Module

Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) Sine Wave Module
The DDS Sine Wave Module is an option that adds four frequency outputs to your Meridian II. This
module produces a sine wave that is generated from the system DDS. Programmable synthesized
