Depending on the model, Energetica photovoltaic modules
generate open-circuit voltage of up to 38 V DC as soon as light
hits the surface.
Use insulated tools during the installation and cover the modules
with non-transparent material before you connect the contacts.
Always make sure that the insulation on cables and connectors is
in perfect condition.
The modules are equipped with connecting cables and
connectors and, because of the way they are designed, are
convenient and safe to be connected in series. When using
system cabling, make sure that the cross-section and connectors
are certified for the maximum short-circuit current strength of
the module.
Maintenance and Repair:

Maintenance and Repair:
Repairs and maintenance should only be performed by
Energetica partners or alternatively personnel authorised by
Energetica in order to avoid constraints to the product and
performance warranty. When servicing PV systems, the system
must be isolated from the grid by means of a switch and
darkened by taking suitable measures.
If the glass is broken, wear suitable protective equipment in
order to prevent injury from glass splinters. Touching open cells
or cell connectors may cause an electric shock. Broken or
shattered PV modules must be replaced.

You can find detailed electric and mechanical characteristics of
each Energetica photovoltaic module under standard test
conditions (STC) on the module type plate and on the respective
datasheet. If the system calculation and the component
classification have to be determined, then the open-circuit
voltage and the short-circuit current under STC should be
increased by 25%. The supplied cables or alternatively cables
with a cross-section of at least 4 mm
2
must be used for cabling.
For cable lengths that are greater than 100m, the cross-section
should be increased to 6mm
2
. The module connecting plugs are
marked with the respective polarity. The protection class of the
plug connectors only applies in a connected state. The back film
is used for electrical insulation and protects the module against
external influences like water and moisture. If the back film is
defective, there may be a danger to life and health.

Loading, Transport and Storage:
Improper stacking at the packaging units may lead to damaging
the solar modules and must be avoided at all costs. The
packaging units may not be rearranged. Energetica PV modules
may only be loaded, transported and stored in the original
packaging and only with original Energetica pallets. The PV
modules must be secured against tipping and should only be
stored in dry, indoor rooms.
Conditions for the Location and Alignment:

Conditions for the Location and Alignment:
A suitable, non-shaded location with optimum sunlight exposure
must be selected for the installation. A separate inverter or an
inverter with multiple independent MPP trackers must be used
for mounting modules with different alignments or alternatively
inclinations. If this is not taken into consideration, then there is a
risk that the inverters will not work optimally or will be damaged.
The better the back ventilation of the modules, the greater the
efficiency. The PV modules should always be aligned in a
southerly direction. The angle of inclination of the modules
depends on the degree of latitude and the elevation above sea
level and is between 30 and 35 degrees in Austria, for example.
An exact value for each location can be calculated with
appropriate programs, or you can ask your Energetica partner.

The installation must take into consideration the existing
legislation, ordinances, accident prevention regulations,
generally recognised technical rules, standards and also observe
the individual operating guides.
All work may only be performed by authorised personnel
according to the applicable standards and regulations.
During the installation, the stability, load or alternatively flexing
confirmations must be performed on a property by property
basis by the respective installer of the system or onsite by the
operator. If there are any questions about the installation or
alternatively installation material, please contact the responsible
Energetica partner. Observe the wind and snow load zones as per
DIN 1955 for the static construction. We would be happy to
advise you in regions with a higher snow load or wind load.
Energetica photovoltaic modules have an increased surface load
of 520 kg/m
2
of module surface area because of the 4 mm glass.
Any warranty entitlement is lost in the event of improper
handling or installation.
