Your Energy eReader Slim has a rechargeable lithium battery. The battery is charged, but it is highly recommended to
fully charge it before using the device for the first time. Recharge the battery by connecting the device to a wall outlet
via USB charger (5V / 1A max.) or to your computer using the included microUSB cable. The charging time may vary
(one to three hours). In order to keep the battery in good condition, do not let it charge for more than 8 hours.

To turn your eReader on, press the On/Off button for a few seconds. To turn it off, press the On/Off button again for a
few seconds. Pressing the On/Off briefly will lock/unlock the eReader. While turned off or in lock mode the eReader
will display an image on its screen. Do not worry, this will not consume the device's battery.
