INSTALLATION:
1.
Remove
the
battery
compartment
cover
located
on
the
rear
of
the
Base
Unit.
2.
Install
(4)
AA
alkaline
batteries
into
the
battery
compartment
terminals
and
replace
battery
compartment
cover
.
NOTE:
Check
to
ensure
that
batteries
are
installed
in
accordance
with the
polarity
(+/
‐
)
configuration
of
the
terminals.
When
fresh
batteries
have
been installed
the
Base
Unit
may
be
powered
on/operated
for
approximately
6
‐
8
hours.
3.
Remove
the
battery
compartment
located
on
the
rear
of
the
Digital
Voice
Recorder.
4.
Install
(2)
AAA
alkaline
batteries
into
the
battery
compartment
terminals
and
replace
battery
compartment
cover.
NOTE:
Check
to
ensure
that
batteries
are
installed
in
accordance
with the
polarity
(+/
‐
)
configuration
of
the
terminals.

THE
PRIMARY
HEADSET
&
A
CELL
PHONE
TO
THE
BASE
UNIT:
1.
Insert
the
Single
‐
Cup
Primary
Headset
with
Microphone's
3/32"
(2.5mm)
plug
into
the
“
COMMUNICATION
HEADSET
INPUT
JACK"
located
on
the
top/left
of
the
Base
Unit.
2.
Insert
the
Base
Unit's
"
TO
CELL
PHONE'S
HEADSET
JACK
"
cable
lead
plug
into
a
Cell
Phone's
3/32"
(2.5mm)
Headset
Jack.

equipped
with

headset
jack
(which
includes
a
majority
of
Blackberry® and
iPhone® models)
the
provided
2.5mm
to
3.5mm
adapter
MUST
be
used.
Cell
phone
headset
jack
types
and
wiring/pin
configurations
vary
as
there
is
NO industry
standard.
