IMPORTANT
NOTE: BATTERY
CHARGING/MAINTENANCE
The
Concealed
Communicator's
Battery
MUST be
fully
charged
PRIOR to
initial
operations.
The
Concealed
Communicator
™
Base
Unit
is
powered
by
an
internal
lithium
‐
polymer
rechargeable
battery.
The
Concealed
Communicators
battery
is
charged
by
connecting
the unit
to
a
standard
120v
electrical
outlet
by
using
the
provided
“
AC
POWER
CHARGER
.”
When
fully
charged
and
under
normal
use,
the
Concealed
Communicator
™
may
be
operated
for
approx.
8
to
10
hours.
IMPORTANT
NOTE:
BATTERY
CHARGING/MAINTENANCE
To
preserve
the
ability
for
the
Concealed
Communicator's
battery to
properly
retain
a
charge,
the
unit’s
battery
should
be
fully
charged
after
EACH time
the
unit
has
been
used.
1.
Locate
the
“
AC
Power
Charger
” (provided).
NOTE:
Check
to
ensure
that
the
Concealed
Communicator™ is
powered
off
(no
LEDs are
turned
on).
2.
Insert
the
plug
end
of
the
“
AC
Power
Charger
” into
a
standard
120v
electrical
outlet.
3.
Insert
the
pin
end
of
the
“
AC
Power
Charger
” into
the
Concealed
Communicator’s
“
CHARGER
” port
.
NOTE:
A
red
LED
located
next
to
the
“CHARGER” port
will
turn
on
signaling
that
the
unit’s
battery
is
charging.
4.
Leave
the
unit
connected
to
the
external
power
supply
until
the
unit’s
green
LED
turns
on.
NOTE:
The
illumination
of
both
the
red
and
green
LEDs signal
that
the
unit’s
battery
is
fully
charged.
5.
When
fully
charged,
disconnect
the
“
AC
Power
Charger
” and
check
that
the
unit
powered
turned
off
(no
LEDs are
turned
on)
prior
to
storage.
