DaVinci Pro Power States
Please do not disconnect your DaVinci Pro from power until the Shutdown Sequence has
completed. A message will display during shutdown which lasts about 10 seconds.
Standby
When your DaVinci Pro is not in use you may want to place it into Standby. Placing your device
into standby mode saves power and allows a quicker return to normal operation than
compared to a full shutdown. You should follow the instructions below to place your device
into Standby.
1.
Locate the Power Button (Located on the Front Panel of DaVinci Pro).
2.
Press this button once for less than 5 seconds.
3.
The LCD Display should dim and the Front Panel LCD indicator lights should blink several
times before turning off.
4.
To resume simply press the Power button again.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Avoid disconnecting DaVinci Pro from power during standby or
shutdown sequence. To maximize the life of your product please follow this
procedure.
6.
Please note that returning from Standby takes approximately 15 seconds until device
is back on and ready to use.
Shut Down
When your DaVinci Pro is not in use you may want to Power it OFF. Placing your device into a
full shutdown saves the most power but takes a little longer to start up when compared with
Standby. To do a full shutdown you should follow the instructions below.
1.
Locate the Power Button (Located on the Front Panel of DaVinci Pro).
2.
Press this button and hold for 5 seconds to begin the Shutdown Sequence
3.
A message screen will display indicating you are entering into the shutdown sequence
please wait until all of the Status LED’s are no longer illuminated and the message has
been removed from the screen before removing your DaVinci Pro from a power source.
4.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Avoid disconnecting DaVinci Pro from power during this shut
down sequence. To maximize the life of your product please follow this procedure.
