INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
STEAM IRONING
SELECTING THE IRON TEMPERATURE
Depending on the type of fabric to be ironed, adjust the temperature of the iron by turning
the knob (18).
The temperature selected is that corresponding to indicator (17).
HOW TO FILL THE BOILER WITH WATER
•
Always make sure that the plug is removed from the wall outlet before you performthis
operation.
•
Press and unscrew the cap in an anti-clockwise direction (7); Pour the water slowly into the
opening hole of the boiler using the funnel supplied in order to avoid spills. Press and screw
the cap in a clockwise direction (7)
•
Fill up the boiler exclusively with running water without spilling water. Never add detergents,
chemical additives or decalifiers.
TIP: If the water in your area is very hard, use distilled water.
ATTENTION!
Before screwing the boiler cap (7) Follow the instructions in the paragraph “ABSENCE OF WATER
DURING FUNCTIONING”.
OPERATION
•
Place the appliance on a stable horizontal surface.
•
Place the iron on the base (8) of the boiler body.
•
Fill the boiler as specified in the preceding paragraph.
•
Let out the whole length of the electrical cable (11) and insert the plug in the socket
Note: when letting out the cable do not bypass the red mark on the cable
•
The indicator light (3) on the boiler body lights up and stays on as long as the power cord plug
is inserted in the wall outlet.
•
Turn the selector knob (2) to the iron+boiler position to turn on the appliance.
•
Turn the temperature control knob (18) of the iron to the position for steam ironing (two or
three dots)
•
The indicator light (19) on iron lights up and will turn off after a few minutes when the set
temperature is reached.
•
When the indicator light (4) turns on, the appliance is ready to dispense steam.
High temperature steam ironing (cotton, linen)
Medium temperature steam ironing (wool, silk)
Low temperature steam ironing (synthetic, fibres)
