CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
The underblanket is washable. Check the washing symbols on the label to ensure it is washed
correctly.
WARNING! Always disconnect the appliance from the
socket before cleaning or performing maintenance.
BEFORE WASHING
Take the plug of the control unit cable out of the mains socket (3).
Press the grip levers at the sides of the underblanket connector (2) in order to detach the control
unit plug (1).
Before washing the underblanket, it’s essential to measure it so you can check the size once it’s
dry again.
WASHING IN THE WASHING MACHINE
The underblanket can be cleaned in the washing machine at 40°C, on a delicate cycle.
Use only the delicate cycle for spinning. DO NOT make an additional spinning cycle.
DRYING IN THE TUMBLE DRYER
Dry the underblanket in a tumble dryer, at a moderate temperature.
At the end of the drying cycle, take the underblanket out and hang it up in the open air to
ensure it’s completely dry.
Only use the underblanket when it’s thoroughly dry.
DRYING IN THE OPEN AIR
WARNING! Spread or hang the blanket without using
pegs, to avoid damaging it.
The underblanket must be stretched back to approximately its original size during the drying
process. This is best done whilst damp, working from side to side, stretching a piece at a time.
This procedure may need to be repeated a few times until fully dry.
Only use the underblanket when it’s thoroughly dry.
WARNING! Examine the appliance against the light to
make sure the cables are not bent or twisted.
WARNING! If the appliance does not resume its original
size or if problems arise with the internal cables contact
an authorised servicecentre for a safety check.
STORING THE UNDERBLANKET
When not in use, store as follows:
make sure your underblanket is dry if it has been washed
fold your underblanket as a normal blanket
it is recommeded to store the blanket in the bag it was purchased in
store the underblanket in a dry place
When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding.
WARNING! DO NOT crease the appliance by placing
items on top of it during storage.
The fabric may take on a natural yellow colour over time. This does not compromise the safety
and/or performance of the product in any way..
Examine the appliance and its supply cord frequently for signs of wear or damage. lf there are such
signs or in the case of malfunction, contact an authorised technical service centre.
WARRANTY
The appliance is guaranteed for three years from the date of delivery as shown by the date on the
receipt/invoice. In case of defect existing before purchase, the replacement is guaranteed.
The warranty does not cover those parts found to be faulty as a result of negligence or careless
use. The warranty also excludes all cases of improper use of the appliance or any instances of use
of professional type. The seller refuses to accept any liability for damage that may directly or
indirectly be caused to people, property or pets as a result of failure to abide by all instructions
contained in this manual.
The symbol representing the crossed out trash can on the appliance indicates that the product,
at the end of its useful life, must be treated separately from domestic waste. It must be taken to
a recycling centre for electrical and electronic appliances or turned in to the point of sale when
purchasing a new, equivalent, appliance. Correct consignment of the no-longer used appliance
to a recycling centre for treatment and environmentally compatible elimination avoids negative
impact on the environment and public health, and makes possible the recovery the materials that
the product is made from. The user is responsible for taking the appliance to the recycling centre
at the end of its life.
For more detailed information regarding collection methods, contract the local refuse disposal
service or the store where the product was purchased. Anyone who leaves or throws away this
appliance without taking it to a collection centre for electrical-electronic waste, shall be punished
by administrative fine as per applicable law on illegal waste disposal.
