1.
Fill water tank with water between MIN and MAX.
2.
Plug the appliance to main power.
3.
Switch on by pressing the power button. The indicator lights up in red.
4.
When indicator lights up in blue, temperature is reached.
5.
Preheat coffee cups by placing them upside down on the warming plate.
6.
Select 1 cup filter or 2 cup filter and fit it in filter holder. (Selector 1 cup filter to make one cup
of espresso while 2 cup filter is to make two cups of espresso.)
7.
Use measuring spoon to fill coffee and tamp down coffee by the end of the spoon.

Fit filter holder on brewing head, turn hand handle of filter anticlockwise from
to
to tighten. (marked on brewing head)
Note: do not over tighten. Ensure filter lock is pulled backward.
9.
Place 1 or 2 preheated cups below each of the holes of the filter holder.
10.
Turn selector dial anticlockwise to and it starts making an espresso.
11.
Once cups are filled to desired level, turn selector dial to off position ‘O’ to stop.
12.
Remove cups after few seconds.
13.
Remove filter holder by turning the handle clockwise.
14.
Empty the used coffee grounds from filter. Turn filter holder upside down. Gently tap out the
coffee. Rinse with running water and dry it thoroughly.
15.
Indicator lights off when the appliance is ready to make the next espresso.
16.
Switch off the appliance by pressing power button after use and unplug the appliance.
17.
Clean the appliance following CLEANING AND CARE.
Note:
Do not overfill the filter with too much coffee. Wipe around the edge of filter to remove excessive
coffee.
Steam pipe is used to froth milk for your prepared espresso.
Note:
For best results use fresh, cold milk. Do not boil the milk.
Do not allow the tip of steam pipe in touch with the bottom of milk container. It could obstruct
the steam release.
Caution! Steam pipe is extremely hot during operation and there is a danger of scalding.
E.S.E coffee pod:
1.
Select POD filter for preparing coffee with E.S.E coffee pod.
2.
Put E.S.E coffee pod in filter and make sure it doesn’t come out of filter holder.
