DISPOSAL
The crossed-out dustbin symbol appearing on the appliance indicates that, at the end of its life, the
product must be treated separately from household waste and delivered to a separate waste
collection facility for electric and electronic equipment or returned to the retailer when purchasing
a new, equivalent unit. The correct separation of waste and the subsequent delivery of the unit for
recycling, treatment and environmentally compatible disposal help to safeguard health and the
environment; and promote the reuse and/or recycling of materials contained in the unit. The user is
responsible for delivering the unit to the appropriate collection facilities at the end of its life. For
more detailed information on available collection systems, contact your local waste disposal service
or the shop where you purchased the product. Dumping or inadequately disposing of this
appliance, or failure to return it to a separate collection centre for electrical and electronic waste, is
punishable with the administrative sanctions and fines envisaged by current law regarding waste
disposal.
Spent batteries must also be disposed of in accordance with applicable environmental regulations,
at an authorised waste collection facility.
Batteries must be removed from the appliance before it is disposed of.
The battery must not be removed by the user. Seek the help of a qualified professional and/or an
authorised waste collection facility.
Plug the appliance out before removing the battery.
The appliance is guaranteed for a period of three years from the date of purchase.
The date on the receipt/invoice is the warranty start date. In cases of pre-existing defects, the
appliance will be replaced.The warranty does not cover parts rendered defective by negligence or
careless use.
Moreover, the warranty does not cover improper or professional use of the appliance. The seller
shall not be liable for any damage that may result directly or indirectly to persons, property and
pets as a result of non-compliance with any of the indications given in the owner’s manual.
Solvents will evaporate and leave sticky residues which can clog and slow the blades.
1. Make sure that the appliance is off.
2. Remove the accessory (if attached).
3. Lubricate the blades with a few drops of the oil provided.
4. Switch the appliance on for a few seconds to distribute the oil across the blades.
5. Remove excess oil with an absorbent paper towel (the appliance must be off).
Warnings!
• The oil for maintenance is inedible — do not ingest it.If the oil is accidentally ingested, consult a
doctor immediately. Do not induce vomiting.
• Avoid contact with the skin and eyes.
• Make sure that the area where the appliance is being used is well ventilated.
• Wash hands after use.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Store in the original packaging, closing the lid tightly.
• Store in a cool, dry area away from sources of heat and sunlight.
• Keep away from foodstuffs, flammable and oxidising substances.
• The product must be recycled in accordance with local regulations.
REPAIR
The appliance does not contain any components which can be repaired by the user. Do not attempt
to repair the appliance by yourself. Always have it repaired by a specialist technician.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORT
1. Clean the appliance, following the instructions given, and allow it to dry thoroughly.We
recommend storing the appliance in its original packaging.
2. Always keep the appliance in a dry and well ventilated environment, out of the reach of children.
Protect the appliance from vibrations and impacts during transport.
