What happens if there is a grid fault?
If the converter has no power supply, it automatically brakes the turbine.
What should I do in case of severe storm?
The Windera S is designed for very high winds, but it is always a good idea to shut down if there
is going to be a severe storm to protect against any flying debris.
What should I do if ice forms on blades?
To avoid the possibility of injury from ice breaking loose from the blades and injuring anyone,
Windera S should be turned off if ice accumulates on the blades.
Is the turbine protected against lightning?
The turbine itself is not protected against lightning. If it´s a lightning area, it is recommended to
install an overvoltage protection.
11.
RECYCLING
Ennera will make the necessary repairs throughout the useful life of the Windera S. If any of the
components require replacement, our technicians will collect the old component and ensure that it is
disposed of properly.
In accordance with European Directive 2002/96/CE regarding electrical and electronic device
waste and its application in Spanish law, used electrical devices must be collected separately and
recycled in an environmentally friendly manner. Therefore, when the time comes, please contact the
local authorities responsible for proper waste disposal and ensure that the entire turbine is disposed
of correctly.
The Windera S is designed and manufactured according to European Directive 2002/95/CE
(RoHS), so it does not contain hazardous substances.
Directive 2002/95/CE (RoHS) restricts the use of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent
chromium, PBB (polybrominated biphenly) and PBDE (polybrominated diphenyl
ethers).
Avoid possible environmental and health hazards by disposing of this product adequately.
Recycling of materials will benefit the preservation of natural resources.
