A terminating resistor will close the BUS-signalline. This closure ensure that reflections of signals are
minimized. When a BUS-line is not closed, interferences in video, audio and data-
communication may occur which will disturb the functioning of the system. This ‘impedance switch’ is
swit-
ched on at the monitor and distributor which are last on the BUS-line.
