3.2.4. FLEX TRI Cabinet
The
FLEX TRI RVM
s have four front doors: two on the bottom that covers the commodity bins and
two on the top. An access panel on each side of the machine facilitates machine maintenance and
service. For safety reasons, sponsors and customers are not permitted to open the side access
panels. The bottom of each cabinet features four levelers and four casters. The rear casters are fixed
and the front casters swivel.
3.3. In-feed Sensor/Scanner
The In-feed Sensor/Scanner takes the container into the machine, identifies its material, scans its
barcode, and pushes it into the Sorting Cylinder. The following paragraphs describe each
component and its function. See Figure 3-4 and Figure 3-5 for illustrations of the In-feed
