ACTIONS
Probe temperature
–
The analyzer is linked to a SEC
probe or a dilution module showing a
faulty adjustment of the temperature
of the probe, of the first dryer or of the
heating line.
–
Check the power supply of the probe.
–
Check that one of the temperature
controllers if not failing. In this case:
–
A: check the programming and wiring
of the temperature controls.
–
B: if the temperature reading is not
correct, check the temperature probe
(PT100)
–
C: If it does not heat up, check the
heating element.
–
D: If necessary, change the control
unit. Check the programming.
–
Check the connection on the
interface board – connector J2 –
Probe Alarm.
–
The connection of the sample probe
short-circuits the SEC probe.
–
Check the sample probe and
specifically for the presence of
dampness on the inside.
Probe pressure
–
The analyzer is linked to a SEC
probe. The dry air pressure is outside
the limits
−
<
<
800
mb Pe
–
Check the pressure of the
compressed air (4 bars).
–
Check the SEC probe pressure
sensors.
–
Check the tightness of the fluid
circuit.
–
Check the ejector of the SEC probe.
–
Check the connection on the
interface board – connector J2 – Air
Alarm.
Low level energy
–
Signals below 500 pts
–
Check the signals and gains of each
measurement channel (“
Tests /
Optical Bench”
menu) in zero mode.
The signals can also be visualized in
PT0 on the motherboard and
compared with the pictures in the
control documents. In this case:
–
–
A: failure of the IR source, see IR
Source Alarm. The IR source may be
faulty without displaying the IR
Source Supply Alarm message.
–
B: failure of the detector, check the
J7, J8 and J24 connections. Change
the detector and re-start the
amplification chain if the signals are
correct in Pt 0.
–
C: problem in the Optical Bench.
Consult us.
