Can not climb out while the lift platform is elevated. The lift mast cannot be climbed safely.
An elevated lift platform has a high center of gravity and can be tipped easily. Standing on or
leaning out from the outside of a cage rail may cause the lift vehicle to tip over. Tipping the lift
vehicle over can cause severe injury or death and equipment damage.
WARNING
Maintenance work
The truck may be used for light maintenance work like changing lights, hanging up
banners, doing inspections and small repairs. All tools and materals must kepts on the load
tray.
Secure tools and materal from falling off.
Do not lean out, the center of gravity of operator and load must be inside the confines of
the vehicle.
Horizontal forces applied to the platform may not exceed 200 N in any direction.
Careful not to drop anything.

1.9 Work in public
Operator must be specially trained.
The safey switch between the drive unit and platform must be checked to proper function.
All other safety function should be checked.
The speed must be always choosen very carefully, avoid abrupt movement.
Operation in areas open to the public like in a store, if the following regulations are
observed.
Operator must be trained.
The truck must have a safety switch to make sure nobody is in the area between the
drive unit and the platform when driving or lowering. Optionally, the warning signal can
be activated by a button.
The truck may only be used if all safety functions are working, otherwise the truck must
be taken out of service
If the area is too crowded, the owner must instruct the public to give space or the
operatormust work together with a marshal to keep people away and warn the operator if
there are still people in the hazardous area.

You could be struck or crushed by the lowering platform, keep your entire body away from
area under platform.
