Pair and unpair Pearl-2 from AV Studio
1. Login to the Admin panel as
admin
2. From the Configuration menu, click
Maintenance
. The Maintenance page opens.
3. Uncheck
Enable AVStudio
to disable AV Studio remote login or leave it checked to use this feature
with Pearl-2, then click
Save
.
Pair and unpair Pearl-2 from AV Studio
To use the remote login feature, you must pair Pearl-2 to AV Studio. An AV Studio account is needed. You can
sign up for a free AV Studio account the first time you pair Pearl-2. For more information, see

You can pair Pearl-2 directly using the Admin panel or you can add Pearl-2 as an encoder manually from within
AV Studio by entering Pearl-2's device ID paring code. To add Pearl-2 as an encoder manually in AV Studio, go
to the

You can unpair Pearl-2 using either the Admin panel or directly within AV Studio. Each time you unpair Pearl-2,
the device ID pairing code changes value. When you pair Pearl-2 again, a new encoder instance is created with
the new device ID.
Important considerations
l
Pearl-2's encoder entry in AV Studio permanently goes offline when you unpair. You must pair Pearl-2
again to use AV Studio to remotely login to Pearl-2.
