EJ-200CE
We’ve changed the
rules for the “The King
of the Flattops” by
adding a graceful cut-
away for added fret
access and a preamp
EQ. The EJ-200CE
gives you all the
features of the EJ-200
in an acoustic/electric,
outstanding projection
and great low-end
response.
(Also available in Ebony
and Vintage Sunburst)
EJ-200
No other acoustic is as
recognizable as the
original Super Jumbo -
the Gibson J-200 -
“The King of the Flattop
Guitars.” Distinctive in
shape and appoint-
ments, the EJ-200 is
still an industry stan-
dard in acoustic
guitars, for tone and
great looks!
(Also available in
Natural and Vintage
Sunburst)
EJ-300S
The best is now even
better! We’ve taken the
Super Jumbo to the
next level with the
EJ-300S. Featuring a
Solid Spruce top and
Rosewood back and
sides for big, luscious
sound!
A page from the 1939
catalog showing the
Recording guitar.
The models A thru E had
X-bracing and rosewood
fingerboards.
In 1963 the deluxe flat-top
Excellente joined the line.
$100 more than the Gibson
J-200, the Excellente had a
huge pearl inlay on the head-
stock and elegant “cloud” inlay
on the fingerboard. It also had
rosewood back and sides,
unavailable in a Gibson at
that time.
