Testing the Printer
CAUTION:
Run the self test using paper at least 210 mm
(8.2 inches) wide for the ActionPrinter 5000 or 360 mm
(14 inches) wide for the ActionPrinter 5500; otherwise, the
print head prints directly on the platen.
4. Insert a sheet of paper between the edge guides until it meets
resistance. After a few seconds, the printer loads the paper to
the loading position and begins printing the self test.
5. To
stop the self test, press the
PAUSE
button (you can resume
the self test by pressing the
PAUSE
button again).
6. Press
the LOAD/EJECT
button to eject the paper from the printer
and then turn the printer off.
