Reset (Reboot) the Ethernet Card

This command resets the specified the Ethernet Card. When in
print server mode, the Ethernet Card must be reset (rebooted)
after:
Adding or deleting a queue from a port’s service list
Changing a port’s name or configuration (this includes
turning the configuration report on/off)
Setting queue polling interval
Setting network configuration (this includes the local address)
Restoring factory defaults
You do not need to reboot the Ethernet Card after renaming the
print server or setting a password.
You can use the RESET command on its own (as in example 1) or
you can include the RESET command at the end of a string (as in
example 2).
Example 1: EPCONFIG 06424922 N=E RESET
Example 2: EPCONFIG 06424922 N=E RPT=norp RESET

N=E NN=new-name
For NN=new_name, enter up to 47 characters. The following
characters are not allowed: Ctrl / \ : ; , * ? + =
[ ] ” <> and
space. A period (.) is allowed, as long as it is not the first character
of the name.
