Cannot install software
Is there enough available HDD space?
The software cannot be installed unless there is at least 10 GB of
available HDD space. Check the amount of available HDD space,
and if there is not enough space, increase the amount of available
space.
In Windows Vista, at least 25 GB of available HDD space is needed to
allow the software to run normally.
Are you logged on to Windows with a “computer administrator”
account (user with administrator privileges)?
When using Windows XP or Windows Vista, you must log on with a
“computer administrator” account (user with administrator privileges).
In Windows Vista, you may be asked for an administrator password or
confirmation. When asked for a password, enter the password to
proceed with operation.
In Windows 2000, log on as a user with administrator privileges (user in
the Administrators group).

Is the power of the product turned off?
Turn on the power of the product.
Is the product connected to the network correctly?
Check that this product and the client computer are connected
correctly to the network.
Is the correct address entered?
Check that the IP address, host name, or FQDN of the product was
correctly entered in the Internet Explorer address bar. Be sure to always
enter this information after “https://”.

Was the certificate issued by the certificate authority imported
correctly?
Check that the certificate is correctly installed to the client computer.

Is the validity period for the certificate expired?
The certificate has a validity period. Check if the validity period has
expired. See “Installing digital certificates” on page 56 in this guide for
further details.
Is the publish destination of the certificate being accessed?
When you attempt to log in to EPSON Total Disc Net Administrator, a
security warning screen appears if the product’s IP address, host
name, or FQDN entered in the Internet Explorer address bar differs from
that of the publish destination. See “Installing digital certificates” on
page 56 in this guide for the publish destination setting procedure.
