Notes on the Control Pad
Warning
Only connect to the EB-1485Fi. Do not connect it to any other projectors or devices.
Doing so may damage the device.
Route the cables so that they are not interfered with the nuts and bolts.
Incorrect handling of the cables may cause fire or electric shock.
The power cable supplied is exclusively for the ELPHD02. Do not use it with other devices.
Do not use a power cable that is damaged.
Otherwise, it may cause fire or electric shock. If the power cable is damaged (if the core wire is
exposed, the wire is broken, and so on), contact your local dealer or Epson repair center.
When connecting the power cable to the control pad, only use the AC adapter that was
supplied.
Failure to do so may cause the product to malfunction, overheat, or emit smoke that could cause
a fire or electric shock to occur.
Do not use the AC adapter at a voltage other than the specified power supply voltage.
Failure to do so may cause the product to malfunction, overheat, or emit smoke that could cause
a fire or electric shock to occur.
Do not pull on the AC adapter's cable or place heavy items on the cable. Do not modify
the power cable.
Otherwise, it may cause fire or electric shock.
Do not apply strong force or shocks to the AC adapter such as stepping on it, dropping it,
or striking it.
This could cause damage. If the AC adapter is damaged, turn off the control pad, unplug the power
plug from the power outlet, and contact your local dealer. Continuing to use the product while it
is damaged could cause a fire or electric shock.
Do not handle/operate the control pad, AC adapter, or power plug with wet hands.
Failure to do so may cause a malfunction, a fire, or electric shock.
Handle the power plug carefully.
Incorrect handling may cause a malfunction or damage which could cause a fire or electric shock.
Observe the following precautions when handling:
Do not use multi-socket adapters.
Do not plug in the plug when there is foreign material such as dust stuck to it.
Make sure the power plug is fully inserted.
Do not handle the power plug with wet hands.
When unplugging the power plug, always grip the plug itself and pull it out, do not pull on the power
cable.
When moving the control pad, make sure you off the power, disconnect the AC adapter,
and check that all the wiring has been disconnected.
