1.2 OPERATION
This section describes user operation.
1.2.1 Control Panel Operation
This printer’s operation panel contains seven switches and nine LED lamps,
as shown below;

1.2.1.1 Switches
Operate
This switch turns the printer on / off. It is set in the secondary circuit of
the power supply board.
WARNING
As this operate switch is secondary switch, the
primary circuit of power supply circuit is hot
condition when the power cable is connected in
AC line.
Pause
This switch alternates the printer activity between on line and off line.
Hold it down over 3 seconds when the printer is in stand-by condition,
and the Micro Adjust functions is enabled. If the switch is pressed
again, this function is disabled.
Load / Eject
Pressing it loads cut sheet or continuous paper when the printer is out
of paper.
Pressing it eject cut sheet to the stacker or continuous paper to the
paper park.
LF / FF
Pressing it shortly executes line feed.
Holding it down for a few seconds executes form feed when
continuous paper is used, or eject cut sheet to the stacker when cut
sheet is used.
Tear Off
When continuous paper is used, pressing it moves a page to the tear off
position. And pressing it again moves to the next page TOF position.
Bin
This switch selects CSF bin number or the Card mode

when cut sheet is
used.
“*”: Card mode is for post card or envelope using.
Font
This switch selects one font of Draft, Roman and Sans serif.
Pitch
This switch selects one pitch of 10cpi, 12cpi, 15cpi, 20cpi and
Proportional Spacing.
