Epson SureColor

SC-F Series DTG Recover

Clear any dust from the printer surface and print area.

Open the cover and check the flushing box condition. Clean/replace as required.

Turn on the printer if not already switched on.

Check maintenance tank capacity and ink levels, empty and change as required.

Go to Epson.co.uk/support to find your model and update the firmware to the latest available.
Once the firmware update process has completed, either wait for your printer to restart, or
switch back on using the power button depending on which model you have.

Remove the ink cartridges and shake the colour inks approximately 15 times over 5 secs, and the
white inks for 50 times each side over 15 secs.

If the white inks were replaced with cleaning solution at shutdown, do not switch back to white
ink until there is a requirement to print dark garments.

Carry out the head/cap maintenance as laid out in the user guide.

Perform a heavy clean from the printers control panel.

Run a nozzle check and observe the results.

If only a few nozzles are missing run a light clean to recover, for more extensive nozzle loss
perform the heavy clean up to a maximum of three times, running a nozzle check in between.
Cleaning carts (capacity required) can be used to perform a head wash on the effected channel
for extreme cases.
