Taking Pictures

appears in the status display panel.

While you make an audio recording,

appears in this space.

While you take photos using the
interval shooting feature,

on the display panel.
Taking Pictures With the Viewfinder
You can capture an image as you would with any
point-and-shoot auto-focus camera: look through the optical
viewfinder and press the two-step shutter.
NOTE
One advantage of the optical viewfinder is that it uses less
battery power than taking pictures with the LCD screen.
However, you need to use the LCD screen when you make
audio recordings or use the panorama, macro, and digital zoom
features.
