flushing pad.

using a dry, soft cloth.

Replacing White Ink
You can switch from White ink mode to color ink mode,
and from color ink mode to White ink mode; however,
you cannot switch from high-speed color mode.
Prepare cartridges (White ink or Cleaning) required for
the mode you want to switch to. You may need new
cartridges depending on the remaining amount. We
also recommend having a new waste ink bottle ready
because a message may prompt you to replace the waste
ink bottle if there is not enough free space in the current
bottle.

When replacement is complete, the screen being
processed on the control panel changes to the
Standby
screen and so on.
Prolonged Storage
If the printer is not used for a long time (with the power
off), make sure you change the ink cartridge to a
Cleaning cartridge from the Maintenance menu before
storing. If the printer is left in this condition, it may be
impossible to clear clogging in the print head. As shown
below, the period for which the prolonged storage
operation is necessary varies depending on the mode
being used.
