confirm if graininess or misalignment recurs in
the printed image.
If you are not satisfied with the adjustment
results
Perform auto adjustment again from step 1, but
select
Bi-D All Color
in step 7. If you are not
satisfied with the results of
Bi-D All Color
,
perform the same procedure for
Uni-D
.
If you want to make more detailed adjustments,
perform
Bi-D #1
,
Bi-D #2
,
Bi-D #3
, or
Bi-D #4
.
[#1] to [#4] displays the size of the ink dots. Since
this differs depending on the printer driver
settings when printing, perform [#1] to [#4] in
order.

paper.
Note:
Multiple adjustment patterns are printed for cut
sheets. Once printing the first sheet is complete,
load the next sheet of paper.

Note the numbers of the patterns with the fewest
white lines or in which the white lines are most
evenly spaced.
This would be pattern "3" in the example shown
in the illustration.

The screen to enter a numeric value is displayed.
Enter the value for each check pattern number
(such as #1) and ink color that you checked in
step 9, and then press the
Z
button.
Enter a value for all pattern numbers and ink
colors in order. After entering all values, you are
returned to the screen displayed before head
alignment was performed. Check the adjustment
results to confirm if graininess or misalignment
recurs in the printed image.
If you are not satisfied with the adjustment
results
Perform manual adjustment again from step 1,
but select
Bi-D All Color
in step 8. If you are not
satisfied with the results of
Bi-D All Color
,
perform the same procedure for Uni-D.
