4.15.9 Rear AD Adjustment
REQUIRED TOOL
Standard Sheet (JETRAS JP-D300S)
EXECUTION MODE
Serviceman Mode
PROCEDURE
1.
When any paper is loaded, remove it.
2.
Turn the printer ON in the Serviceman Mode.
Turn the power ON while pressing
[Menu] + [Back] + [OK]
.
3.
Select
SELF TESTING
Mecha Adjustment
Rear AD
.
4.
Press
[OK]
while
[Enter] Start
is displayed.
Check if “
0
” is displayed on the Control Panel.
5.
Press
[Left]
for one time and return to the top menu.
6.
Select
Rear AD
again, and release the Media Loading Lever while
[Enter] Start
is displayed on the panel.
7.
Insert the Standard Sheet to the position shown in
and lower the
Media Loading Lever to press the sheet. Make sure to observe the followings.
Load the sheet with its matte side facing up.
Set the edge of the sheet 10 to 20 mm out from the driven roller

Select
SELF TESTING

, and press
[OK]
while
[Enter] Start
is displayed.
Check that a number is displayed on the Control Panel. If
Retry AD Adjust
is
displayed, check if there is a defect (tears/rips, contamination, wrinkles) on the
Standard Sheet, and repeat this step.
9.
Press
[Left]
for two times and return to the top menu.
10. Raise the Media Loading Lever to release the sheet.
11. Remove the Standard Sheet, and turn the printer OFF.

P O I N T
Make sure to carry out the following steps without loading the
Standard Sheet.
C A U T I O N
When executing the following step, do not remove the external
covers to acquire proper AD value.
C A U T I O N
If
Retry AD Adjust
is displayed again, the PE sensor is defective.
Replace the PE sensor with a new one and carry out the adjustment
again.
Set the sheet under the PE sensor
sensing portion. (there is a hole on the
frame.)
