Explanation
Custom Paper Setting
(Touching any of the registry numbers from 01 to 10 will display settings items.)
Change Name
Register and change the name of the custom paper settings. The
name registered here is displayed in the
Paper Type
list.
Touch this to display the keypad screen. Up to 20 characters may
be input for the name. The keypad screen can be switched as
shown below with the button marked.
Touch the icons at bottom left to switch between input methods.
ABC: Enters alphabet letters.
123#: Enters numbers and symbols.
To change the key layout of the full keyboard, use
Keyboard
in the
Basic Settings menu.

You can select the media type that is the closest to the paper you
are using.

This is the Platen Gap (distance between print head and paper) for
the paper selected in
Change Reference Paper
, so it does not
normally need to be changed. Change this to a setting that will
widen the gap (a higher value) if print results are smeared.

Top/Bottom Mar-

Setting this to Standard will set the top/bottom margins as follows
depending on the printer driver print targets.

Others: 30 mm/30 mm
Left and right margins will remain at 3 mm regardless of settings. If
there is any soiling on the top section of the print results, increase
the top margin.
