Error Status
There are three possible error types: automatically recoverable errors, recoverable errors, and unrecoverable
errors.
Automatically Recoverable Errors
Printing is not possible if an automatically recoverable error occurs. You can restore the printer to a normal state
by the following methods.

Printing is not possible if a recoverable error occurs.
The error codes can be checked on TM-L100 Utility. When contacting qualified service personnel
for help, inform the personnel of the error code to troubleshoot the problem quickly.

Head temperature error
(2AA23)
Head temperature exceeded the
proper range.
The printer recovers from the error when the head
temperature drops.
Cover open error (in the
middle of printing) (3DA11)
The roll paper cover was opened
during printing
The printer recovers from the error when the roll
paper cover is closed.
Paper error (black mark
detection error) (2BD31)
Paper with black marks is selected,
but no black mark is detected.
Reload the paper with black marks, or change the
setting if you do not use paper with black marks.

Autocutter error
(3CA21)
Abnormal auto cutter operation was
detected.
The printer recovers from the error when jammed
paper or foreign materials are removed and then
the roll paper cover is closed.
When the [Method for canceling recoverable error
(cutter error)] has been set to [Command only],
perform one of the following after removing
jammed paper or foreign materials and close the
roll paper cover.
- Turn off and then back on the printer
- Send an error recovery command
Paper layout error (3BD41)
Black mark cannot be detected in
the range specified as black mark
interval.
The printer recovers from the error when the
cause of the error is removed, and then turned on
and back on, or receives an error recovery
command.
Before reloading the paper, check that the black
mark interval setting matches with the black
marks on the paper.
