•
To avoid paper jams when the printer is running under the operation environment, set the top
margin to 5 mm {0.2"} or more. Paper jams may be more likely to occur in hot and humid
environments or when using paper that curls easily.
•
When the paper is fed backward, the paper may get wrinkled or smeared due to a slack in the roll.
It is recommended to use thermal paper that has high resistance to abrasion.
•
Make sure to feed the paper by at least 35 mm before moving the auto cutter. It the paper feed
length is not enough, it may cause a paper jam or make it difficult to remove the paper.
When using the TM-L100 Utility and TM Utility, you can specify values in 0.5 mm increments.
"Precautions when Developing Applications" on page 116
for precautions on using the
“Paper Removal Standby”.
•
When using the printer with multiple interfaces, set the interface that is always connected and
used as the main connection.
•
When using multiple interfaces, set the receive buffer capacity to 4 KB.
•
You cannot use wired LAN and wireless LAN at the same time.
•
When you do not use the Bluetooth function, set the Bluetooth security level to "Middle" or "High"
to prevent unauthorized access to the printer over Bluetooth.
You can change the security level by using Epson TM Utility, TM-L100 Utility, or in the Interface
Setup mode.
