7. SPRAY EQUIPMENT 

7.1  GOLDEN RULES 

 

1.  Use clean water. 

2.  Make sure the filter element on the suction line is clean. 

3.  Make sure the spray nozzle filters are cleaned daily. 

7.2  ADJUSTMENTS 

 

Calibration is simply achieved by the change in spray pressure done by the regulator. Settings for 

specific applications is done according to a diagram of specific spray mediums. Information is 

available from the manufacturer. 

7.3  MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION 

 

DAILY 

 

  Make sure the suction line filters and the spray nozzle filters are cleaned daily. 

 

WEEKLY 

 

  Grease the pump shaft and the drive wheel bearings. 

 

CLEANING PROCEDURE 

 

  Wash the tank thoroughly with clean water once the season has ended. 

  Allow the clean water through the spray assembly, in order to clean the pump, pipes
